Circuit Design and Mass Balance
Owners and EPC engineers building a new plant, or adding capacity to a running circuit.
Owners and EPC engineers building a new plant, or adding capacity to a running circuit.
How it runs
Send the rock
UCS, abrasion index and a 200 kg PSD. Underground jobs add the heading drawing. No sample, no number.
Size every node
Feed, crush, screen, convey. Each node gets a t/h figure and a size distribution worked out from your sample, not from a catalogue t/h.
First balance
Fifteen working days after the samples land: mass balance sheet, steel schedule and wear forecast, signed against the sample.
Freeze the drawing
The mine signs the PSD and the balance. From that signature the drawings freeze. Anything after it is a change order.
What is in it
No sample, no number
Capacity is calculated from UCS, abrasion index and a 200 kg PSD. A catalogue t/h does not enter the sheet.
Signed against the sample
Every node in the balance traces to a laboratory figure the mine supplied.
Steel list with masses
Machines, belts and chutes with masses, so civil design can start before the drawings freeze.
Wear priced from year one
The forecast states expected change intervals for liners and screen mesh instead of leaving them to year two.
What’s delivered
Mass balance sheet: t/h and size distribution at every node, signed against the sample.
Steel schedule: machines, belts and chutes with masses, for civil design.
Wear prediction: expected change intervals for liners and screen mesh.
Send the rock type. Get a first view on t/h.
Tell the applications desk the rock, the target product, and whether it's a pit, a decline, or a quarry. An engineer replies within three working days with a first view on tonnage and a first-steel date.
